Billy Bob`s Backyard Barbeque in Hondo

The burgers would keep falling apart and orders kept getting made wrong. The onions were rotted and avocado was also rotten. Tasted okay but not “excellent”. In Hondo tx.

Burger and sweet potato fries were good. Busy during lunch hour and we received our order 5 minutes after ordering. Friendly crew.

Best burger joint I've ever been in quite a whileit's an awesome hamburger place great root beer great atmosphere friendly service very clean and speedy service with a smile friendly people I recommend this for a family area to eat they have other selections as well if they're well-known for those Billy Bob burgers and believe me they are delicious 👌👌👌😋😋😋😋

Just wanted to let ya'll know Billy Bob's burgers are the best ever. Also I recently ate in Uvalde and picked up one of your "The Hope" cards. What a great witness, loved it.

Decided to stop and give it a try for the first time and was super disappointed. It was a complete waste of money. There was a hair in one of the chicken baskets we ordered. The staff were unfriendly and unorganized. Will not stop here again!

This place is friendly and great to eat w a big group. We had a group of 15 and fit perfectly! Service was great and food came out fast. They are running a special, 4 burgers 4 fries 4 drinks for $19.99. So budget friendly if you ask me! Their menu has a great selection also. Food here is cooked fresh as you order. Taste is great also. My favorite is the Heart Attack

The burger ingredients tasted fresh and they were ready quickly. I had a large order and they had no trouble handling it. They played music by Alabama, Ronnie Millsap and Tracy Lawrence so you can tell they have good taste in music. The fries and onion rings were average but if it's a good, quick burger you want to break up a long trip, stop here.

The burgers are really good here, and really big too. The brownies are great and so is everything else. Very small but common place to go and hang out with friends. Not too expensive; just an overall great place.[rated 4 stars]

The staff was very friendly, but the food was ok.

Used to a great place. One location charged us for a side order that should have been included with the meal. Not to mention the hush puppies were burned on the outside, mushy on the inside. The time before they treated themselves to a $5 tip on a to go order. Aside from that the quality is nothing to brag about. I really hate hamburgers made with what tastes like frozen patties.

I like that the veggies are a lot the fries are thick so i don't feel like I'm just eating the crust. I like to eat them over waterbuger any day i think it's cheeper too. I like that the tables are marked with names of people who at there and possibly positive words not sure as it's a lot. I eat my order quick cuz its good that way I'm always looking at what's on the walls. HOWEVER, THEY NEED TO FIX THE SOGGY BUN ⚠️ shake off the water on those tomatoes and veggies, toast those buns!

Just keep driving, trust me. But it’s probably too late and you went here and now decided to look at the reviews. You made two mistakes, first of which was going there. Second you didn’t order correctly. If you want ketchup, then order without it. If you want a hamburger then order a cheeseburger. If you want fries, then order tater tots, etc. They don’t want to be there or cook for you. If you stop there then you interrupt their phone time and you will get your order wrong.

Great burger, good price. Fries and sweet tea were just okay stopping it from the 5th star. Service was good as well.

We stopped here on New Years Day after spending New Years at the ranch. As always, the catfish was cooked perfectly and the burgers rocked. There is something nice about going local. Thanks, Billy Bob's....

Tasty burgers made up fresh. Rustic interior with a hole on the wall feel. They have the thick cut fries.

Family of 5 tried it all. Was outstanding!!! Service was friendly and quick. We're gonna come back to Hondo to tour and get food here again. Want to try the fish next time. It all looks good.

Excellent is what is posted.Not what we got. Burgers were plain tasting, no seseme seeds on bun, over ripe tomatoes, long wait for a tea refill, place the tea within reach. Out of condiments. Cashier had an attitude. I don't recommend to any of my 42,000 followers.

Burgers where freshly made very hot and cheese actually melted not like other places and fish platter was delicious

My burger was very food. My husband ordered a cheeseburger and got a hamburger. Had to take it back and het cheese added. He ordered unsweetened tea and got sweet. Took it back and they gave him another and he returned to the table and it was another glass of sweet tea. Back to the counter again. Then had to ask for salt and pepper and catsup and napkins. The people sitting a few tables away from us made three trips back to the counter to finally get what they ordered. 🙄🙄🙄

I ordered 3/4 lbs burger and it was over cooked and dry. Staff are very dry, irritable and they seem that they don't like their jobs. I would NOT recommend this place if you are expecting a good burger.

Hamburger special and catfish. This time last year it was my 1st time stopping there. It was great. Fast forward to same time this year, (2nd time) ...I never want to stop again. The sweet tea was sugarless, the French fries tasted boiled. The coleslaw, (pictured) yes, that is all I got.
